Much of this shift is attributed to the influence of U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who spent years leading anti vaccine campaigns through his organization, Children’s Health Defense. Since assuming office, Kennedy has faced criticism for dismantling federal vaccine guidelines and promoting unproven claims about vaccine injury, creating an environment where medical misinformation often outweighs scientific consensus.
Governor Kathy Hochul expressed her heartbreak over the loss of the child and explicitly blamed the administration’s policies for eroding public safety. In a poignant statement, Hochul described the death as a devastating reminder of what happens when Washington intentionally undermines decades of progress in preventing illness. According to recent findings, career scientists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were allegedly blocked from issuing an urgent health alert intended for clinicians. The suppressed warning focused on managing measles during pregnancy, a critical issue since many modern doctors have never encountered the disease and may not recognize its life threatening risks to mothers and fetuses.
